Natascha Koningsveld is the founder of Colour&Spice. A holistic beauty method and natural skincare line for women who do not go for a quick fix, but who want to improve their skin in a healthy way. With an impressive background in natural cosmetics, sustainable skin improvement and traditional medicine, she guides women to become more aware of their inner strength and outer beauty. With her beauty method she “reads” the skin and not only investigates which type of skin care works for you and your skin, but also what you need on both an energetic and spiritual level to feel more beautiful than ever. Her Colour&Spice holistic beauty therapy method is now offered in the Netherlands and Belgium at renowned stores, spas and therapists.

A Holistic View of Beauty

“Sometimes you have to give up everything, until you have nothing left. Only then are you free.” That’s one of the first quotes in my book, The Beauty Sabbatical. Not because I want to encourage you to give up everything and start over — but because that’s my story.

When life brings you to your knees, it seems easy to give up. I discovered that there is so much we can influence. We can choose to listen to helpful thoughts. We can choose to dance until the sun comes up, even when it is raining cats and dogs. We can choose to give ourselves more peace and space and take steps towards our desires every day.

And that's what I did. I brought rituals into my life and expressed my creativity. In 2009 I opened my practice, Colour&Spice — Holistic Lifestyle Studio. With one mission: to show women that if you know how to penetrate to your own core, remove all the frills and masking layers and nourish yourself with exactly those pure ingredients that matter to you, you will fall madly in love with your life.

That happened. Thousands of women crossed my path (and on a waiting list for a treatment that showed them their beauty), dozens of beauty journalists wrote about it in magazines such as Nouveau, JAN, Harper's Bazaar, LINDA., Vogue and Grazia.
My business became so successful that I couldn't keep up. My only dream turned out not to be my dream anymore. I saw a beautiful metaphor in that:
“Biologists tell us that human cells replace themselves every seven to ten years. Then, in terms of cells, you are essentially a completely new person.”

So I had to go back to my own core again. The desire to rid myself of all the roles I wanted to fulfill perfectly (like so many women) and to be free, carefree and above all completely myself more often, became stronger and stronger.

Through trial and error I found the answer in what Colour&Spice is now: a way to take good care of yourself and see your own beauty. With pure products and holistic routines, breaking through all barriers to get to your core. How do you feel in your own skin, what do you need? Who are you really when you polish those tired layers from your face and only keep the pure that really matters?

After studying and applying holistic skin care for over 30 years (including at Dr. Hauschka Cosmetics and the American beauty company H20 Plus), I am proud to offer skin care that brings out your beauty to every woman who knows deep down that there is more to life, who wants to shine.

Extremely carefully composed, with pure products and intentions. With chemical precision: all the right elements together for a life full of splendor.

All with a touch of love.”
